Dearest all!
We are happy to greet you on this page! We are Sofia and Olga, we are co owners of the Zero Waste Shop in Lviv, and since 2019 we have been a platform for dozens of wonderful Ukrainian producers who make high-quality environmentally friendly products. Since the full-scale russian war against Ukraine, we have been fighting like crazy to stop occupants invading our country. For example, our partners are at the front, and we are currently in Lviv, searching and sending as much aid as we can to the people in need.
We are insanely grateful for all the people who support Ukraine, send humanitarian and military aid to us, it is very much appreciated. We also see multiple Ukrainian producers who are getting back to work, but since the situation in Ukraine is very complicated, people cannot afford to buy this produce.
This is why we need your support, as we need to empower our local producers and retailers to stay in business and support our people and economy. For example, here is just a short list of constantly needed items in the communities who are suffering from the war:
- soap
- washing soap
- shampoo
- washing liquid
- dish soap
- cleaning liquids
- menstrual cups
And all of these products are being produced in Ukraine right now! Isn’t it fantastic?
We receive requests daily from the people who are currently in the East, Center and South of Ukraine asking for very basic things, and we really want to be able to send it to them. At the same time we really want to support our local producers.
